How to Protect Your Files

To start, just load the file you want to protect—whether it’s a song, an image, a video, or even another software tool. Then choose where you want the protected file to go and give it a name. Just remember that this tool doesn’t work in batches, so if you have multiple files, you’ll need to do them one at a time.

Create Your Password

You’ll then set up a password using a virtual keyboard right in the app! If you mess up, no worries—you can hit ‘Reset Password’ to clear everything.

Keep Your Password Safe!

Just be sure to remember your password because there’s no recovery option! You can’t view what you’ve typed after setting it either. Once you're ready, just click on the ‘Run’ button. The app will remind you to use the same version of CodeMixer for both encrypting and decrypting your files.
