How ClockAxon Works

This tool acts as a server, pulling info from a GPS clock using the NMEA protocol. Then, it shares that info with all the computers on the network as an SNTP server. But hold on! For this magic to happen, all those network machines need to have TimeAxon running as a client. This way, they can grab the right date and time from ClockAxon and set themselves up correctly.

Customizing Your Settings

You can tweak several settings in ClockAxon, like adjusting the 'Port', 'Baud-Rate', or 'Flow-Control'. Plus, you get to set how much time difference is okay in milliseconds. If something goes wrong? No worries! You can even make ClockAxon beep at you when there’s an error.

Monitoring Client Activity

Want to keep tabs on client PCs? ClockAxon has your back! You can add the IP addresses of all your machines into its memory and set a maximum inactivity time for each one. If there’s ever a communication hiccup with the GPS clock or if the GPS antenna isn’t positioned well, this tool will send out alert messages as SNTP traps.

Server Controls Made Easy

The 'Server' section of ClockAxon lets you check out what’s happening with your SNTP server. You’ll find a button that lets you easily 'Start' or 'Stop' it whenever needed—no fuss!
