ClearSkyClock is a cool tool that shows you the sky conditions right on your desktop. It’s super handy if you're in North America and want to keep an eye on the weather!
Features of ClearSkyClock
This nifty software has an XML database with over 3000 sites, all sorted by country, state or province, and clock name. You can easily check out any three clocks at once on your sidebar, which is pretty awesome!
Interactive Charts
If you click on any colored chart, it’ll take you straight to the site for more info. And guess what? If you undock ClearSkyClock, it widens up to give you a clearer hour-by-hour preview chart. This chart shows cloud cover at the top and transparency below, making it easy to see what’s happening in the sky.
Understanding the Colors
In ClearSkyClock, each square represents one hour of time. The color coding goes from dark blue (which means excellent skies) all the way to white (which means very poor conditions). There's even a red line that marks midnight! So when you look at those charts, you'll quickly know what kind of skies to expect.
