What is ClearProg?

ClearProg is a handy little tool that gives you a simple dashboard to clear out all those pesky traces your browser leaves behind after surfing the web. It doesn’t just stop there, though! This program can also tidy up local files like the contents of your Recycle Bin, documents from the Start menu, temporary files, and even leftover data from various MS Office programs. Although it was designed for older systems like Windows XP, Vista, or 7, it surprisingly works with newer versions such as Windows 10 or 11—just be aware that there might be some stability hiccups.

Simple Interface

The interface of ClearProg is pretty straightforward but small—you can only stretch it longer but not wider. At the top half of the UI, you’ll find the supported browsers and locations where you can delete data. Speaking of browsers, this app manages Internet Explorer, Opera, and Mozilla Firefox. While these are good options, they don't cover all the popular browsers we use today.

For each browser you select in ClearProg, you can choose what to delete: cookies, cache files, browsing history, URLs you've visited, download lists—basically everything that clutters up your browsing experience!

Preview Before You Delete

A cool feature of ClearProg is that it lets you preview what you've selected to delete before actually doing it. Just hit the preview button once you've picked at least one entry. A new window will pop up showing everything you've marked for deletion. If you're happy with your choices and want to clear them out for good, just click on the Clear button. After that's done, you'll get a log at the bottom pane showing all cleared files.

Tidy Up Office Programs Too!

But wait! There’s more! ClearProg isn’t just about cleaning up browser data; it can also wipe file lists from MS Office programs like Access, Excel, PowerPoint—basically anything from Word to Publisher. Plus if you're using Media Player or photo editing tools like Photo Editor 3 or MS Paint? No problem! ClearProg has got those covered too.
