Cleaner XP is a handy little app that helps you delete files from your computer that just won't budge otherwise. It’s small and portable, so you can take it anywhere! Plus, it doesn’t have complicated settings, making it super easy for everyone to use.

User-Friendly Interface

The interface is pretty straightforward, with a small window that has a clean design. You’ll see all the options laid out nicely, so nothing feels cluttered or confusing.

Simple Controls

You won’t need to worry about figuring out how Cleaner XP works because there are only three buttons. Unfortunately, you can't drag and drop files into the app. Instead, you'll need to use the file browser to find the file you want to delete. If you already have the path copied, just paste it in!

Quick Deletion Process

If you decide not to go through with deleting a file, don’t sweat it! The path will clear itself automatically. When you're ready to delete something, just click the button and voila! The app even opens Windows Explorer afterward.

File Location Issue

It should show you where the file was originally located after deletion, but we found that this part didn't work well on Windows versions newer than XP.

Portable and Lightweight

The whole program is packed into one executable file. You can save it wherever you like on your hard drive or even pop it onto a USB flash drive for easy access on any PC. No installation needed!

No Unwanted Additions

This app keeps things simple—it doesn’t mess with your system registry or require extra DLLs to run smoothly. Plus, if you ever want to uninstall Cleaner XP, just delete the .exe file and you're done!

Performance Check

When we tested it out, Cleaner XP didn’t slow down our machine at all. It uses very few system resources while getting those pesky files deleted quickly.

Lack of Updates
