CL-Tools 4Win
CL-Tools 4Win is a handy suite of user interfaces that makes using several command line tools easier. These tools are usually only available in DOS Mode, which can be tricky for many people. This suite includes some cool utilities like Microsoft CDImage, Cabarc, MakeCab, and UPX by Markus F.X.J. Oberhumer, Laszlo Molnar, and John F. Reiser.
What Can CDImage Do?
The main job of CDIMAGE is to create an ISO CD/DVD image from files on your hard drive. You can control different properties of the ISO image like the volume label, time stamp, and even optimize storage space! If you have a CD packed with various software versions, it can make sure that files are only written once on the disk. This means you can have the same files appear in multiple folders while saving loads of space!
Bootable Images Made Easy
It also helps you create bootable images for older Operating Systems like Windows 98, Millennium, NT, Windows 2000, Media Center Edition, XP, Windows 2003, and Vista. Plus, it applies Boot Sector files and Volume labels automatically.
Cabarc: Your File Packing Friend
Cabarc is great for creating and extracting cabinet files. What’s cool about cabinet files is that they allow multiple files to be stored together efficiently. Thanks to data compression across file boundaries in CAB format, you’ll get much better compression ratios than if you were storing them separately.
MakeCAB: Compress with Ease
