Supported Hash Types

You can choose from three main hash types: MD5 (a 32 character 128 bit code), SHA-1 (40 character 160 bit), and SHA-2 (64 character 256 bit). Keep in mind that some other types like SHA384 and SHA512 aren’t supported right now.

Results of Your Check

If everything matches up, you’ll see a friendly green confirmation message telling you your file is all good! But if there’s no match, it could mean that something went wrong with your download or there might be harmful stuff in there.
