When you open the app for the first time, you’ll see everything is laid out nicely in a compact window. No complicated menus here! There’s a big text pad where you can type or paste your text easily. Plus, all the options are right there in a clean menu bar!

Password Protection for Your Texts

When you launch Cipher Text, it prompts you to set a password. Remember this password; it’s crucial because it lets you decrypt your texts later! If you ever want to change the password, you can do that too, but just remember it won’t work for texts encrypted with different passwords.

A little downside is that Cipher Text doesn’t support external files just yet. So, you'll need to write directly in the app or paste from your clipboard. Saving works similarly—it also depends on copying and pasting.
