The art. 61 of the Prime Ministerial Decree of 22 February 2013 allows the use of the CIE as an advanced electronic signature tool for public administration services and activities.
Furthermore, the CIE, widely used as a strong identification method for authentication for public administration services, fully satisfies the minimum requirements established for the FEA and can also be used as an electronic signature tool between private individuals within the limits of the law.
When you first launch the App, register your CIE by entering your PIN and holding the card close to the device in use.
From now on, a guided procedure will allow you to easily sign your electronic documents whenever you want:
-SELECT the document and the type of signature to add
-INSERT the last 4 digits of the PIN (or activate the biometric recognition mode chosen if necessary) of your CIE
-PLACE the CIE to your device
-SHARE the signed document via email, messaging app, cloud
You will also be able to insert your graphic signature and verify the signature on the documents.
Remember: the first part of the PIN is given to you by the Municipality when you request the CIE, the second part is delivered together with the Card.
