CheckSend is a super handy add-in for Microsoft Outlook. It helps you by showing warning messages whenever certain things go wrong with your outgoing emails. The main idea behind this tool is to make sure your emails are correct before they go out, which can save you from some awkward moments!
This cool add-in checks your outgoing emails and gives you a heads up if something's not quite right. For example, it will let you know if the email address you're sending to is blacklisted or if there's supposed to be an attachment but you forgot to include it.
You can set up all kinds of alerts in the Options window. Here, you can choose specific email addresses, important phrases, and even indicators for attachments that will trigger warnings when you hit send. This way, you're always reminded to double-check before sending anything out.
The add-in has separate tabs for managing these settings so it's easy to keep everything organized. You can turn warnings on or off based on who you're emailing and what keywords are in your message. If your message mentions an attachment but you forgot it, CheckSend will remind you!
The Address Watcher tab lets you set up email addresses that will trigger alerts as soon as you click 'Send'. You can create lists that either block or allow certain addresses. This works for emails, tasks, meetings - pretty much anything in Outlook!
If there are specific words or phrases that could lead to trouble, the Content Watcher feature warns you when they pop up in your message. For instance, if you've typed 'See attachment', it'll remind you to actually attach that file before sending it off.
With CheckSend keeping an eye on things, you'll feel much more secure about hitting 'send'. It won't stop your emails from going out but will nudge you if something isn't right according to the rules you've set. For a deeper look at how CheckSend works and to download, check out SoftPas!
