First Impressions Matter

The first time you run the app, you'll notice that its main window isn’t exactly eye-catching. The design feels a bit outdated and might even make you want to look away! If you’re not already familiar with what this app does, it can be tough to figure things out—especially since there’s not much documentation available.

Limited Functionality

As for what the app can do on its own? Well, it mainly retrieves chart views of custom tickers—just like its name suggests. Beyond that, it doesn’t really offer much else. You’ll need some background knowledge because it doesn’t come with a list of symbols or tickers for you to search through.

Getting Results

If you know your stuff and type in the right ticker symbol before hitting the “Load Chart” button, you'll get your results pretty quickly! While it's nice that results come fast and are accurate, they only serve as a brief moment of information.

Display Issues

The catch? The chart shows up in a small area no matter how wide you stretch the window. Plus, there isn’t an option to save an image of your results either!

A Confusing Interface

The main window has two text fields whose purposes aren’t very clear at all. Another feature that’s supposed to be helpful is creating watchlists, but these files are only readable within this app itself—so you're stuck with just ticker symbols and nothing more.
