Chainsaw is a lightweight and super easy-to-use software that helps you cut files. This tool is perfect when your files are too big to fit on removable devices, like USB drives.

Portable and Convenient

One of the coolest things about Chainsaw is that it's a portable app. That means you don't even need to install it! Just put it on a USB flash drive, plug it into any computer, and run the executable file directly. And guess what? Your Windows registry stays untouched!

Simplistic Interface

The interface is pretty straightforward. You just pick how you want to split your files (either by a preset size or a custom size), choose where to save the pieces, and start cutting!

Easy File Importing

You can easily import files by dragging and dropping them right into Chainsaw's list. Plus, it supports batch processing! Once everything is done, you'll see all the chunk names listed out for you. Chainsaw even makes a BAT file for you! Just double-click that file and your original file will pop back up on your computer.

User-Friendly Features

You can set Chainsaw to play sounds while working or keep it on top of other applications. It runs with very little system resources, responds quickly, and finishes tasks in no time without causing any issues during our tests.

A Few Drawbacks

Now, there are some downsides. There's no help file or cancel button (you have to close the app if you want to stop). Also, Chainsaw doesn't offer extra splitting methods like breaking files into equal parts. The interface could use a little flair too. But honestly, despite these small quirks, we totally recommend Chainsaw to everyone!
