Catfood Earth is a super cool app that turns your desktop wallpaper into a live map of our planet! Imagine having your wallpaper show the latest cloud cover, weather radar, earthquakes, and even where it's day or night. It’s like having a window to the world right on your screen!

Awesome Features of Catfood Earth

This app comes with three different themes to choose from. The first one is called the natural theme. This is the default option and it shows both daylight and nighttime areas as well as global cloud cover. And get this—the cloud cover updates every three hours!

Select Your Map Layers

You can customize what you see on your desktop with various map layers. Want to check out clouds? Or maybe see images of day and night? You can even see time zones or earthquake info! The choice is yours!

Time Zones Theme for Travelers

If you pick the Time Zones theme, it will color code countries and regions based on their current time zone. Plus, there are clocks at the top showing the current time in each zone! As countries switch to daylight savings, this map updates automatically.

You can even add specific places to your map! This means that Catfood Earth will show local times for cities, friends' homes, or office locations. It's perfect for people who travel a lot or want something interesting to show off in their company’s reception area.

Earthquakes Theme for Safety Alerts

The last theme is all about earthquakes. It provides recent data from USGS about earthquakes happening across the globe. You can view quakes from the last 24 hours that are magnitude 2.5 or higher. Each quake's display fades over time so it’s easy to spot recent events. Plus, you get details like location, time, and magnitude!
