CatchChar is here to help you type special characters easily, even when your keyboard doesn’t have them. It comes with a menu where you can pick and choose the characters you want, making it super handy for those times when standard keyboards fall short.

Easy Access from Your Tray

This nifty app hangs out in your tray area. When you need a specific character, just click on it, and a clean menu pops up. Plus, there’s an icon that lets you access settings where you can control which characters are available to you and how they look.

Add More Characters

The menu includes some symbols that aren’t usually on your keyboard, but it might not have everything you want. Don’t worry though! You can easily add more characters to the list. Just copy and paste them into the dedicated field. If you're unsure what to add, check out the Windows Character Map for inspiration!

Create Custom Text Strings

The cool part? You’re not limited to just one character at a time! You can create entire text strings that can be inserted all at once by hitting a button. This makes typing long phrases much faster.

Organize with Groups and Hotkeys

You can also set up custom groups using separators to keep everything organized. And don’t forget: all your character sets are saved in files so you can load them whenever needed! Want quicker access? Change the hotkey for bringing up the menu—this works no matter where you're typing.
