Calendar Desk is a super lightweight app that serves as a cool alternative to the calendar that comes with your operating system. It’s designed to make keeping track of your tasks and events easier.

How Calendar Desk Works

So, here’s the deal: when you install Calendar Desk, it creates a little icon on your desktop. But here’s the catch—you can’t just click on it to open the app! Instead, you have to go through the system tray shortcut to make the user interface (UI) pop up. This might be because it's still under development.

User Interface Features

Once you get it opened up, you can actually drag the interface around on your screen. But keep in mind, if you close it and then reopen it later, it'll just pop back up from above the tray every time.

Scheduled Tasks and Features

The main goal of Calendar Desk is to help you manage scheduled tasks under specific dates in a side panel. However, since it's still being worked on, we couldn’t jot down any tasks during our tests.

Customization Options

If you like customizing things, you'll enjoy how Calendar Desk lets you set which day your week starts on—either Monday or Sunday. Plus, there’s a handy slider for adjusting its transparency!

Syncing with Other Calendars

This app also syncs with new calendars and can import scheduled tasks from them. It’s pretty neat for staying organized across different platforms.
