Optionally, you may select a sub-category as well, such as clothes, furniture, gifts, household or outdoor. The list of sub-categories can be appended at any time. Built4Crafts comes both as a stand alone software and as a Filemaker plugin. It features a user-friendly interface, as it works with a Filemaker type of database and allows you to handle data in three ways: view, edit and report modes.

Built4Crafts’s View mode allows you to observe all the details about a particular project. You may easily browse through the categories or use the Quick Find option in order to identify the project you are looking for. You may also access associated documents, suppliers, websites and magazine articles. Moreover, you can use the unit converter and other measurements tables as adjuvants in projects.

The Edit and Report modes can be accessed from the buttons at the top of the window. Simply select and edit a project or add a new one to enter the Edit mode. You may add photos, supplies, instructions or notes to each project, as well as modify category, origin, cost or difficulty. The reports can depict the number of projects that are listed in the database, suppliers, magazines or project details and can easily be printed.
