Description
It's not often that we hear about LEGO dealing with computer sciences, programming, and this sort of stuff. On the contrary, we've become accustomed to seeing LEGO solely as a construction medium for building imagination and so on. With the LEGO Mindstorms brand, that general idea shifted towards a broader view.
In an attempt to fill a gap in the cycle of learning to program, making it fun on the way as well, the EV3 project was born. Control your EV3 module with the help of this app, rotating, changing colors, moving, and adjusting the ultrasonic module while you're at it. Brick Controller EV3 is the way to go.
While the program itself might not look that complex, representing a couple of sliders, four information panes, and a power button, these are enough to make your EV3 contraption come to life. The program can also offer some information as to the current status of a component within your physical module.
As you play with the four sliders, two on one side of the info panes, and two on the other, you will notice the values for each registered component change. This gives the user a rough idea of what to select in order to achieve the desired output. The program might not be the prettiest, but it could be the backbone of your LEGO EV3 project.
