Trickling down from that concept, BOM Compare was created in order to allow users to easily determine the differences between BOM datasets, through a difference checker engine that features enhanced functionality.

Adding the datasets that are to be compared is a quite straightforward task and will enable users to have their files loaded in no time, thanks to the included navigator feature, which makes finding the data in question a simple task.

What we enjoyed right from the start, is that once the files have been loaded, users will be able to preview the differences instantly, and have them color-coded thanks to the included highlighter module.

All the identified differences, aside from being highlighted for easier view, are also signaled as individual entries, which can be browsed using the on-screen controls. We believe that this makes for quite easy and efficient handling.

The detected differences can be exported, and the way that the app displays the loaded data, as well as its corresponding characteristics, can be fine-tuned in great detail, meaning that users can achieve a truly customized experience.
