Blurate is a cool image filtering tool that uses OpenCL technology. It lets you create image filters that you can even share with your friends! How awesome is that?
With the Blurate app, you don’t need to worry about any coding stuff. You can design your own image filter kernels easily. Just keep in mind, the project is still a work in progress. If you're curious about how it all works, check out more about the concept behind it online.
Inside the Blurate app, you can start making kernels right away! You’ll see how they affect an image of your choice in real-time on the main screen. The app uses building blocks to show how each filter interacts with different parts of your picture.
The Blurate Kernel Designer gives you control over what happens to each pixel. You can set which pixels will be affected and decide how those effects blend together. Plus, you get to choose how each pixel's value changes!
This tool packs a variety of operations for creating your filters. You can use them at different stages to make your image look just right. Want to change colors or mix pixels? You’ve got it!
In the Kernel Designer, there are lots of merging options for the steps involved in creating your filter. You can even set up specific conditions for when to apply those changes.
You have total freedom to mix and match operations and tools however you want! Once you're happy with your filter, just save it in a special file format.
Blurate lets you create unique image filters by combining different operations and techniques for pixel manipulation. This gives you full control over what your final output looks like! Just remember, getting used to the designer might take some time, but it's worth it!
