Description

Blurate

Blurate is a cool image filtering tool that lets you use OpenCL technology to whip up awesome image filters and share them with friends. How neat is that?

Creating Filters Made Easy

The best part about Blurate? You can create image filter kernels without needing to write any code! Sure, the project is still a work in progress, but you can check out the concept behind the app online.

Designing Kernels Effortlessly

Inside the Blurate app, you can start designing your own kernels and see how they look on your chosen image right away! It’s pretty user-friendly and allows you to use building blocks to decide how your filter interacts with the picture.

The Kernel Designer Tool

The Blurate Kernel Designer lets you define things like the input surface and which neighboring pixels will affect the output. Plus, you get to control how effects blend together and how pixel values change.

A Variety of Operations

This utility packs in lots of operation types! You can mix and match them during different stages of creating your image filter. From assigning colors to summing up neighboring pixels, or even tweaking RGB channels with various formulas—there's a lot you can do!

Merging Operations for Custom Effects

In the Kernel Designer, you have access to various merging operations for your passes. You can also set conditions for when each pass should be applied. This gives you tons of flexibility!

Your Own Custom Filters

Blurate makes it super easy to create unique image filters by combining different operations and pixel manipulation techniques. You'll have full control over what your final output looks like. Just a heads-up though: getting used to using the designer might take some time!
