Installation Instructions:

• Open your browser and launch the Seagate BlackArmor Web User Interface (UI).


• Provide administrative username/password authentication when prompted.


• Click on the Firmware Update link in the left column of the Web UI.


• Click on the Manual Update link in the left column.


• Click Browse to locate the sg4000-4000.0661.img file.


• Click the Submit button to start the update process.


• Wait for the update to complete. This may take a few minutes.


• After completion, the BlackArmor NAS 440 or NAS 420 will restart.

During the update, it is important not to refresh or shutdown your browser.
