Product Description:
BlackArmor NAS 440/420 Firmware Update is the most current Firmware Update Code for the Seagate BlackArmor NAS 440 and NAS 420 Servers. This update should only be applied if you have changed your Firmware Update settings to Manual.
While the firmware update process is straightforward, it is advisable to back up any important data before proceeding.
Installation Instructions:
- Open your browser and launch the Seagate BlackArmor Web User Interface (UI).
- Provide administrative username/password authentication when prompted.
- Click on the Firmware Update link in the left column of the Web UI.
- Click on the Manual Update link in the left column.
- Click Browse to locate the sg4000-4000.0661.img file.
- Click the Submit button to start the update process.
- Wait for the update to complete. This may take a few minutes.
- After completion, the BlackArmor NAS 440 or NAS 420 will restart.
During the update, it is important not to refresh or shutdown your browser.
