Bitwarden even comes with a password generator! Need to share passwords? You can create links that expire after a set time. And if you're worried about security, your vault can lock itself after being idle for too long. To make life easier, you can minimize the app to your menu bar.
If you’re using the App Store version of Bitwarden, you'll get the Safari extension included right off the bat; that's pretty neat! However, if you download from GitHub instead, you'll only be able to use it with Chrome or Firefox. Just a heads up: some Monterey users mentioned they had trouble seeing the Safari extension after installing from the App Store.
The add-on works just like the desktop app—autofill for passwords included! Although I have to mention that some folks think its interface looks crowded and outdated in Safari.
You might notice there’s a Premium plan available but honestly? It's not necessary for most users. It just adds some extra features that aren’t must-haves. Considering Bitwarden’s available on every major platform and is free across multiple devices? I’d say it's definitely worth checking out!
