Birthdaybook is a handy Mac app that helps you remember all your friends' birthdays and special events. It sends you reminders ahead of time, so you never have to worry about forgetting an important date again!

Track Your Events Easily

When you open Birthdaybook, it shows you a list of upcoming events. This can include birthdays or anniversaries that you've added yourself or popular events from the "Famous Names" calendars that come with the app. If you're curious about more events, just hit the "List" button to see everything at once!

Add Events Your Way

You can easily import new events from your Contacts or Calendar apps. But if you prefer, you can also create new entries manually! Just choose if it's a birthday, anniversary, or another event type, type in a name and date, and click add.

Customize Your Experience

The Birthdaybook Preferences window is where the magic happens! Here, you can change how dates are displayed and tweak how reminders look. Plus, if you're using Apple Calendar, you can personalize which calendars get integrated into Birthdaybook.

Create Custom Notifications

This section also lets you set up notification templates. You can pick from predefined patterns or come up with your own! You decide when to see alerts: at startup, after sleep mode, or once daily at a specific time. And don’t forget the “snooze” feature; it’s super helpful for making sure you catch every reminder!
