ASP.NET XmlProviders
The ASP.NET XmlProviders package consists of an implementation of XML ASP.NET Providers (XmlRoleProvider, XmlMembershipProvider, and XmlProfileProvider).
It is not recommended to use these providers with "heavy-duty" membership sites (a lot of roles, users, and a large number of members). However, they are best suited for sites with a small number of authenticated users hosted on servers with no SQL access.
