AppTime is a cool activity tracking app that quietly runs in the background. It keeps tabs on how much time you spend on each OS X application. Whether you're working or just having fun, this app helps you see what portion of your day goes to each!

Track Your Time Easily

When you launch AppTime, it sits in your status bar and starts recording right away. Plus, you can set it up to start automatically when you log in! Just tweak a few settings in the AppTime Preferences window, and you're good to go.

No App Left Behind

One thing to keep in mind is that AppTime tracks everything without skipping any apps. You can't tell it to ignore a specific program, so be aware of that! In the Preferences section, you can even add the login window and screensaver engine to the list of apps being monitored. This way, every moment spent on your Mac counts!

Your Activity Overview

AppTime has a handy Results panel where you can view all the apps you've used. It shows their names along with how long you've spent on each one and what percentage that time is of your total usage. It's sorted by how much time you've clocked in each app!

Customize Your Reports

You can also decide how many top-used apps you'd like to see displayed and choose the time frame for monitoring: whether it's total time, today, this week, this month, or even this year.

Share Your Findings

The customization options don’t stop there! You can create detailed activity reports as PDFs or share them directly through email or social media as images.
