What Does Boot Camp Do?
With Boot Camp, you can set up Windows XP without messing up any of your Mac data. Just keep in mind that you'll need to have your own copy of Windows because Apple doesn't sell or support Microsoft Windows.

One of the best parts? Boot Camp will create a CD with all the drivers you need for Windows! So, you won't have to waste time searching online for those pesky drivers.
How to Switch Between Systems
Once you finish setting up Boot Camp, switching between Mac OS X and Windows is super easy! Just hold down the option key when starting your computer—yep, that's the 'alt' key if you're used to Windows. After booting up, your Mac will run Windows like it’s its own thing. Need to go back to Mac? Just restart!

Important Note:
Make sure you install Boot Camp 2.1 before installing Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3). It's really important!
