App Chef is a simple and tiny application for Mac OS X. It helps you convert two or more applications that use PPC and Intel architecture into a Universal Binary app. This tool makes it easy because you don’t have to create a folder inside the app or mess with copying plist files and other resources.

How to Use App Chef

Using App Chef is super straightforward! Just drag and drop your application onto the App Chef interface, then hit the “Create” button. After that, a confirmation dialog will pop up on your screen. Remember, the first app you drop in is the one that gets turned into a Universal Binary!

Supported Architectures

The cool thing about App Chef is its compatibility. It works with various CPU architectures: PPC 32, PPC 64, Intel 32, and Intel 64. So no matter what type of app you're working with, there's a good chance App Chef can handle it!

Important Notes

A heads-up: since App Chef isn’t signed, you’ll need to allow apps downloaded from anywhere. You can do this by going to System Preferences > Security & Privacy if you haven’t already set this up.
