Alarm Viewer is a super user-friendly tool for keeping track of alarm system messages. It’s designed to show you the status of all systems within a specific machine at a glance.
In Alarm Viewer, each system has its own table cell that displays the count of fatal, error, and warning alarms. You can easily select one or more systems to dive deeper into the details of those alarms. This way, you can check out all the properties and definitions related to any particular alarm.
By default, Alarm Viewer only shows active alarms. Plus, it won’t repeat any alarm instances (no heartbeats or anything like that). But don’t worry! If you want to see more, you can go into the application menu and choose options to display terminated alarms or even collapse all alarms in the system.
If you want to explore an alarm further, just double-click on it! This will pop up an alarm definition dialog box that shows you the history of that alarm along with all alarms from the same server or device code.
