Description
AirPlay Alarm Clock
AirPlay Alarm Clock is a super cool tool that lets you wake up to music from your iTunes playlist. But before you can get started, there are a few simple steps you need to follow!
Enable Access for Assistive Devices
First things first! You’ve got to enable access for assistive devices. Just head over to System Preferences, then click on Universal Access. Here, make sure to check the box that says "enable access for assistive devices." This gives the app permission it needs.
Edit Your Script
Next up, grab the script you downloaded and open it up. You’ll want to edit the first two lines so they match your iTunes playlist name and the device you're using, like your Apple TV or Airport Express. Just make sure those names are correct; otherwise, it won't work right!
Save Your Script as an Application
Once you've made those changes, save the script as an application. Now it's time to set it up in iCal! Schedule a new event at whatever time you want to wake up.
Your Wake-Up Call!
When you've saved that event, AirPlay Alarm Clock will take care of waking up your Apple TV and start playing a random track from your playlist. It's like having your own personal DJ in the morning!
