Ahoy Map Maker is super handy for anyone wanting to plan a trip and share maps with friends or family in no time!

Create Routes Easily

This awesome app features a world map that you can explore with your mouse. Plus, it has a few easy-to-use tools for adding notes and highlights to your map.

User-Friendly Map View

The main part of the Ahoy Map Maker window shows you the map where you can zoom into different areas. There’s even a 3D button, but we found out it didn’t really work during our tests.

Map Display Options

You can view the world map in several styles: satellite, standard, or hybrid. It’s cool because you get to pick how you want your map to look!

Navigating the Map

To control the map, you just use your mouse. Move it over the area you're interested in and zoom in or out using the scroll wheel or small buttons at the bottom right of the map.

No Drag-and-Drop?

One thing to keep in mind is that you can't drag and drop to move around on the map, which seems like it would be easier, right?

Add Your Own Touches

In Ahoy Map Maker, you can set placemarks for points of interest, create paths that connect multiple spots, highlight areas with circles or freehand drawings, and even add text notes! Each of these elements can be customized with colors, opacity levels, line widths, and more!

Sharing Your Plans

If you want to share your plans with others, just capture your map region and export it as a JPG file. It's simple!

Troubleshooting Tips

A heads up: during our tests, sometimes Ahoy Map Maker became unresponsive. If this happens while switching tools, try pressing that 3D button; it should help get things back on track.
