Adobe Dimension is a super handy tool that helps you design cool 3D photorealistic package and product art from scratch. You can create awesome mockups, advertising shots, logos, and branding—even if you're just starting out with this kind of software!
This design software lets you whip up lifelike 3D objects using materials described in Adobe Standard Material based on NVidia's MDL (Material Design Language). Pretty neat, right?
All the models you make in Adobe Dimension use 3D lighting that mimics realistic lighting. This gives your creations a more lifelike appearance. If you want to dive deeper into lighting options, check out the Lighting in Dimension CC help page.
Once you install and fire up Adobe Dimension on your Mac, creating a new 3D design is a breeze! Just drag and drop new objects from the Assets panel on the left side of the main window into your workspace.
This panel also lets you throw in background images, textures, backdrops, and materials—all of which can be matched to your scene with just one click. How easy is that?
If you look to the left side of the screen, you'll find the app's toolbox. This is where you can switch between various tools to manage whatever object you've selected.
The inspector panel on the right side helps you tweak your scene quickly. It shows context-based controls for actions and properties so you can adjust things with just a couple of clicks.
If you're looking to speed things up while using Adobe Dimension to create those stunning 3D photorealistic objects on your Mac, check out all the keyboard shortcuts available on the Default keyboard shortcuts help page.
If you're not an expert at using more complex 3D design apps, then Adobe Dimension is probably your best bet for whipping up impressive 3D mockups and presentations for branding or products using your Mac. Want to give it a try? Download Adobe Dimension here!
