What is ActiveDesktop?

ActiveDesktop

ActiveDesktop is a small and handy application that can substitute the existing "active desktop" feature in Windows XP. It enables you to view one or two webpages directly on your desktop.

How Does It Work?

Using ActiveDesktop is super simple. You just need to set it up with a few commands:

  • Single: activedesktop address width_of_window update_interval_in_minutes

  • Dual: activedesktop address address width_of_window update_interval_in_minutes

No Updates? No Problem!

If you don’t want the page to update at all, simply type in 0. This way, your webpage stays exactly how you like it without changing.

Why Use ActiveDesktop?

This handy tool makes it easier to keep tabs on websites without having to open new windows or browser tabs every time. Whether it's your favorite news site, social media, or any other page, having it on your desktop saves time and keeps everything in sight.
