actiTIME


actiTIME is a handy web-based tool made just for project managers. It’s super user-friendly and packed with intuitive features that make time tracking easy peasy!



Free Edition for Small Teams


With the free edition, you get access for a limited number of users, which is great if you’re working in a small team. You can also check out the actiTIME Small Team Edition or the actiTIME Extended for more options!



Setting Up actiTIME


The installation might take a little while to set everything up, but don’t worry! You’ll be able to choose between using Microsoft Access or MySQL as your database platform. The setup wizard can help you create a new database or copy data from an existing one. Plus, you can specify the IP address and port number to use.



Logging In and Getting Started


Once installation wraps up, just log into actiTIME through your web browser using the default username and password shown in your setup. Don’t forget to change these right away for security reasons! After that, you can jump into the app with an empty database or check out two demo versions to see how it works.



User-Friendly Interface


The interface is super clean and organized—everything is neatly laid out in separate sections. You can tweak general settings, create billing types, track tasks, and set up accounts for other users easily.



Time Tracking Features


Your general settings include things like time-tracking levels, reporting options, overtime control, leave time management, user groups, email notifications (like mail server settings), and more! You have control over everything!



Managing Users and Projects


The first thing you'll want to do is build a list of users so you can assign them to projects and clients. Each user gets their username, password, access type (enabled or disabled), contact info, department details—basically everything you need!



Create Customers and Tasks Easily


You can create new customers with just their name and description. For projects, all it takes is assigning them to a customer along with project details like name and description.



Add Tasks Efficiently


Add tasks by linking them to customers or projects with names, budgets, deadlines—you name it! You even have options to filter tasks by name or client.



Your Calendar at a Glance


You’ll have access to a calendar that shows both working days and free days. Generating reports on staff performance or billing summaries is also straightforward!



Email Notifications Made Easy


You can set up email alerts for reminders about deadlines or reports on unsubmitted projects too! These notifications are customizable so they fit your needs perfectly.



Smooth Integration on iPhone Devices


The good news? actiTIME integrates well with iPhones! We tested it out—it ran smoothly without crashing our system at all!
