Achroma is a cool image processing tool that helps you quickly remove specific colors or color ranges from your photos. This way, you can create some amazing effects!

Easy Image Processing

The Achroma app makes it super easy to load multiple images for editing. You can even check them out in slideshow mode! Just keep in mind that you can use different settings for each picture.

Getting Started with Achroma

To kick things off with the Achroma application, first, load the images you want to edit. You can do this either through the Finder menu or by simply dragging and dropping them into the app.

Review Your Images

In Achroma's main window, you'll see both your original image and what it looks like after editing. It also gives you access to lots of metadata information, like image type, size, pixel density, color model or profile, and even when it was created or last modified.

Choosing Your Color Profile

You’ll need to set up which color profile you want to remove. You can use some handy predefined templates like red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, or magenta. Or if you're feeling creative, go ahead and create your own in the Advanced panel!

List and Stamp Settings

A cool feature of Achroma is its List and Stamp image settings system. It lets you put your current settings on a pasteboard so you can transfer them to other photos that you've imported for processing.

Simplifying Custom Profiles

This feature is especially handy when you're working with custom color profiles. If you've adjusted the color range bit by bit using arrow keys (just double-click on markers to activate), this will save you tons of time!

Saving Your Work

Don't forget! With Achroma, you can save your current slideshow using its own file format. Plus, exporting images individually is easy too! You can choose popular formats like JPEG, OpenEXR, PDF, PNG, or TIFF.
