The cool thing about ACDSee is that it lets you preview all kinds of image formats, whether it's JPEGs or RAW photos. It even shows the EXIF metadata! You can edit this metadata, create custom categories, and give ratings to your photos.

Organizing Made Simple

The right-side panel makes it super easy to add or remove categories. You can also filter what you're seeing based on type or rating. The bottom toolbar allows sorting by name, size, type, date, rating, or any custom criteria you want.

Fun Features Like Slide Shows

Thanks to ACDSee, browsing through your shots is a breeze! You can zoom in and out and even display them in fun slide shows. If you have an ACDSee account, you can upload photos to the cloud too! You get to choose if your pictures are private or public so sharing with friends and family on Facebook or Twitter is easy.

A Few Issues with Compatibility

Unfortunately, ACDSee doesn't seem to work well with the latest Mac OS X version. While it starts up just fine and lets you browse folders, it struggles to display images now.

Troubles with Uploading Photos

There were also problems uploading pictures to our ACDSee Online account. Starting a slideshow with selected images didn't work either. Plus, it looks like ACDSee lacks a proper home page or support from developers these days.

A Call for Updates

In short, while ACDSee used to be a great image viewer and organizer, it really needs some updates and new features added to stay relevant today!
